About Robert Rausch, photographer / owner GAS Studios

Robert started photography when he was sixteen. While studying pre-med requisites and a photography major at Loma Linda University, Robert's talent and enthusiasm took him to a prestigious Pason School of Design in Paris.

After earning a degree in photography Rausch moved around the world, doing the same thing he had always been doing, expressing himself through his quickly developing artistic skills. He traveled through Africa as a photojournalist, did stints as a fashion photographer in New York, Atlanta and Los Angeles. Tired of the limitations of just doing photography, Robert completed the Masters program in Fine Arts at the Art Center in Pasadena, California. Getting his masters helped him separate his art from his work and develop his style.

Robert is also a Creative Director and continues to produce his own work. Models, actors and professional support persons jump at the chance to be a part of Robert's productions because his eye for perfection and beauty and his fun-loving, gracious direction produce moving works of art.

This CLIO award winner is now living in Florence, Alabama with his wife and four children.

Robert runs GAS Studios. GAS is a full service, 5,000 foot daylight commercial photographic studio. They have support talent to complement your creative team and offer plenty of southern hospitality to help you with any needs you may have.
