About Linda Albright , artist

An army brat, Linda spent most of her childhood overseas. There she developed a deep respect for other cultures, especially the Japanese. Although she enjoyed drawing all of her life, she didn’t start painting in watercolors until after she received a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design in Colorado. She soon realized that fine painting was her true calling.

Linda prefers the drama of bright colors and uses textures to create depth and interest in her work. Portraits, flowers and other items from nature are her specialty. She has lived in the Shoals area since 1996 and has 2 young sons that are her greatest inspiration.
