About Melissa Carter, artist
I
have been painting for about 3 1/2 years. I am a member of the
Shoals Artist Guild in Florence, AL and a member of the Tennessee
Valley Art Center in Tuscumbia, AL. I was accepted into a juried
museum exhibit called Exhibition South. They accepted two of my
paintings and they appeared April 10-May 20 in Tuscumbia, AL.
I
am a watercolor artist and also incorporate pen and ink and mixed
media. I have always been artistic and have always had a love
for watercolor paintings. I studied under a great art instructor
named Ann McCutcheon and have taken several Art workshops to increase
my skills. I held my first 2 shows this year at Arts Alive and
the Helen Keller Festival.
I
pray that you may enjoy this talent that God has gifted me with.
I want to use it to help other little children come home to a
forever family. All sales from my work benefit adoption and orphan
relief.
