About Us

Shoals Art (ShoalsArt.com) was built in 2005 as a FREE service to the arts community by David Messer, president of i-Net Services, Inc., located in Florence, Alabama. David is an active board member in the Shoals Community Theatre, Florence Kiwanis Club, past President of Downtown Florence Unlimited (DFU) and past Chair of First Fridays in Florence. David brings Internet and Information Technology business knowledge gained with Inter@ctive Week's 500, Fortune 500 and Global 500 companies, three Chambers of Commerce, and building dot-com companies to the Shoals Art community. His company is the founder of the EZSiteTool and Cypress Creek Publishing.

His undergraduate degree is in Advertising from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and David is currently pursuing a Masters in Education, Instructional Technology. He has a professional background to include graphic arts, drafting and multi-media design and enjoys outdoor digital and traditional photography. He is the founder of Cypress Creek Art and My Photo Pop Art, where his works may be purchased online. Taking the key success experiences from working with the W.C Handy Festival website and as a founding member of First Fridays in Florence, David is applying this expertise to the ShoalsArt.com, ShoalsMusic.com, and ShoalsFilm.com websites.
