45,000 families in Louisiana were still living in FEMA trailers in 2007.

The images capture time and space of NOLA areas 15 months after the storm.
Although the scarcity of residents and devastation of places of worship were overwhelmingly disheartening,
encouraging spiritual beacons rose from the ruin.
